Welcome to the website of the Vice Chancellor for Government and Community Relations.

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Government & Community Relations coordinates University of Arkansas activities related to government and community organizations on a local, state, and federal level.

Local Government and Community Organizations:  The office works with the Chambers of Commerce and other community groups on issues related to the University of Arkansas.

Arkansas State Government:  At the state level, the office primarily deals with legislative issues but also is available to assist faculty and staff with issues involving the various state agencies and offices.

United States Federal Government:  At the national level, the office works with our congressional delegation and with the University's Washington lobbying firm on the University's priorities for federal initiatives.
